Professional and Thorough

I was referred here by my Dentist when he found an absess in my #7 tooth that had a few years earlier been treated with a root canal and a crown. Everything about Endodontics Northwest was very professional. I also felt that they intentionally took extra time to make sure I understood what was going on and that I felt comfortable with moving forward at each step.

The before and after x-rays clearly showed that these guys did a much more thorough job at retreating my tooth than the original (a different) Endodontist did the first time.

I needed a major root canal, and my new dentist referred me to this busy practice of specialists. They got me in right away on a cancellation, and the whole experience was as good as its going to get for this procedure!

Kind and Understanding

This is going to sound crazy, but I had SUCH a good experience getting a root canal at Endodontics Northwest!

They were recommended by my regular dentist when I needed a pretty major root canal on a back molar.

First of all, the procedure itself could not have gone more smoothly. I had Dr. Patel, and he was so kind and understanding. I was pretty nervous, and he made sure to listen to me, and went out of his way to ensure that I wouldn’t feel any pain. After I had a bit of a freak out about getting that horrible shot of Novocain in the roof of your mouth, Dr. Patel gave me an extra shot in my gums, and then waited an extra 20 minutes to test if I was numb enough so we could skip the pallet shot.

On top of that, Dr. Patel and his assistant made sure to chat the whole time (the procedure takes over an hour) about every day stuff to take my mind of the fact that they were re-pouring the foundations of my smile. Everything about their bedside manor and the atmosphere of the office was designed to make this awful procedure as comfortable and easy as possible.

Even the ladies at the front desk could not have been more understanding when a miscommunication with my insurance company made this procedure cost me a bit more than I expected. They worked with me to set up a payment plan, and never made me feel like my concerns were stupid or a waste of time.

If all that wasn’t enough to convince you, consider this: I had to get my crown (the next step after the root canal) at a different dentist because I was moving shortly after the root canal. When the new dentist looked at the x-rays of my root canal tooth he actually said

“Wow! THAT is a beautiful root canal!”
I guess I have particularly twisty tooth roots, making my root canal especially tricky, and Dr. Patel’s work was flawless.
If you have to get a root canal, this is definitely the place to do it.
